We would appreciate a minimum of 14 days of advance notification of your reservation for signing your rental contract.

Last minute booking, defined as less than 5 calendar days of the scheduled pick-up, is possible. Rental contract processes are still required, and it is recommended that you call us at (256) 273-9752 for expedited processing.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. If the reservation is cancelled within 5 calendar days of the scheduled pick-up, this deposit becomes non-refundable.

For greater than 5 calendar days cancellation, a 25% restocking fee (based on the reservation total) is incurred and the remainder of the paid deposit will be returned to the renter. (To be clear, Rent and Cook, LLC retains half of your deposit for restocking.)

Why? When a rental is reserved, we immediately prepare the equipment for your event and hold it exclusively for you. This means we clean, inspect, and set aside the items so they're ready to go, decline other rental requests for the same equipment, since it's reserved in your name, and we allocate time, labor, and resources to your order.

If the reservation is cancelled, we've already invested those resources and may have lost the chance to rent to another customer. The restocking fee helps to cover those costs and ensures we can continue offering high-quality, reliable service to every client.

We can do both.

If you are picking up the equipment, the pick up address is 119 Wall Road Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Please arrive to retrieve the equipment at your scheduled time on your contract. It is recommended to call us at (256)273-9752 ahead of time to ensure that your vehicle, towing package, and stabilization methods (bungees, ropes, etc.) are appropriate for transport.

We will deliver

• $130 flat rate for deliveries within a 15-mile radius (30 miles round trip) of our Madison County base (Local Service Zone).
• $195 flat rate for deliveries within a 16–30-mile radius (60 miles round trip) of our Madison County base (Regional Service Zone).
• Deliveries beyond 30 miles one way may only be accepted under a special service agreement, quoted individually based on distance, time, and fuel requirements.
• Extended Delivery: For any delivery or pickup involving additional setup time, multiple equipment units, difficult site access, or unusual travel conditions, Rent & Cook LLC reserves the right to adjust delivery fees accordingly, with notice to the renter prior to scheduling.

Please update your expected delivery address at checkout and we will verify this delivery address with you during the contracting process.

The balance of the order is due on the day of pick up. 

We do not refund for inclement weather.

If you need to extend your reservation, please call us at (256)273-9752 so that we can ensure that there are no scheduling conflicts and that your insurance coverage remains in effect. 

If a propane tank is included in your rental, the tanks will be full upon pick-up and delivery. The renter is not required to refill the tanks.

We can provide wood for an additional negotiated fee. Please make these arrangements ahead of time by calling us at (256)273-9752 as we may or may not have the type of wood that you are looking for.
